For the past week my Fitbit versa 3 has been using about 25% battery per night but has also only been giving me a basic sleep score. Nothing is different with the watch, I wear it as tight as always. Heart rate is detected find from about 6am when I start to wake but not when I'm asleep. I feel sure that the battery draining and sleep tracking is connected.
Any ideas how to fix?

Hi @TunstallV - a couple of things, first try a watch restart which might resolve the heart rate issue, but also look at the settings.
A battery drain of that order would indicate you have both Snore detection and the SpO2 tracker app active [you can uninstall it].
See all the relevant battery draining issues here How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

I have powered off and on.
I believe snore and spo2 are premium features, I don't have premium. I did have a trial.and sued snore detection and battery drainage was similar. Definitely dont have that now.

@TunstallV - SpO2 is installed by default, if you go to the Gallery tile scroll to the bottom of your apps, you can uninstall it. You can always reinstall it.
It's always worth checking the gear icon on the Sleep tile just in case Snore detection got enabled, but if you haven't had premium, probably not.
