Hi,
When I worked out my versa started flickering and vibrating liked I pressed the haptic button and holding it in. I guessed it was a error of sometime and when I get home I just plug it in the charger. The battery drained on the drive home and now it is completely dead. Won’t start at all, when I first plugged it in the charger it got very warm so I unplugged it for a while but now nothing is happening. What can I do? I got it a little over 3 years ago because of the buy in for the Fitbit Ionic.

Hi @Andy-apandy - sorry to say but it is probably suffering from moisture getting in and once the watch gets warm especially when charging it is a sign of internal damage and there is nothing more you can do.

Apparently the issue with the heat and these areas burning is known to customer service because they asked me about it. I have been walking around in 115+ degree heat and it burns the back of my wrist.
---
I went here and started the process: https://support.google.com/fitbit/gethelp?hl=en
They asked what my major concerns were, and to be honest I live in Arizona and walking around outside (I don't have a car) in 115+ degree heat is the worst because where the metal used to be burns my skin, noticeable in 85+ degree heat. I typed in "Metal trim fell off" and then there are options to read about it, but I went straight to customer service. They asked me a few questions and I got a replacement ready to be sent in less than 20 minutes. If you mention a burning sensation, apparently they want to replace it right away. My new model is on the way.

3 days ago the battery on my fitbit Versa 3 got so hot it burned my arm. A week prior to that happening it stopped responding to touch. I could not set it on an activity it would freeze up. After charging it it starting responding to touch but now the battery drains so fast. I have to charge it every day now and it still dies on me. It hasn't captured any of my sleep because I wake up to a dead battery. This is my 5th fitbit since 2017. I refused to buy another one. This seems to be a sales ploy they use to get you to purchase another one with their $50 rebate. If this problem isn't resolve I am going elsewhere for a smartwatch! I am getting tired of the poor quality performance!
