My battery for the versa 3 after 1 year has decided to only hold a charge for tops 2 days. Could it be the heat outside making it not last the 4-5 days like it use too?

Hi there, @warneke. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.
Are you using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?
However, I'd like to share with you that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor your it's behavior in the next day. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.
@Guy_ Thank you so much for your help!

Hi @JurassicAttack - 2 days sounds pretty normal if you use all the features that have been added.
Try removing Snore detection and the SpO2 tracker app which can use as much as 4 days per charge alone.. For more improvements see How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

Just today, my Versa 3’s battery started dropping drastically. It Was 100% this morning and dropped to 8% by 5pm. Prior to this, a battery charge would last 5-6 days.
I recharged again at 7pm when it had dropped to 63% after charging for an hour. It’s two hrs later and it’s dropped from 99% to 71%
my Versa 3 was purchased Nov 2021 so this is quite alarming.

Hi @warneke - please note you posted personal information on a public forum - to remove it, login to the community and click the 3 dots or hidden cell on the date line of your post and choose Edit and repost.
As regards the battery issue, did your watch get wet at some point recently? Often when it gets water in it it does damage inside. If it's not under warranty try drying in a bag of rice for a few days. Don't charge it if it gets hot as that is dangerous.
If it's under warranty, 1 or 2 years depending on country law, and found faulty the quickest way to resolve it is to take it to the shop for a new replacement, hopefully over the counter.
You can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support, for them to check it out.

Update: - unless your watch got wet the poor battery performance [and phone too] may be related to the roll out of a new firmware which comes over days or the release of the recent Fitbit App.
One thing to try is to turn off the phone's Bluetooth temporarily to see if the watch battery life improves.
