I bought my Versa 3 in July 2022 and it was fine for about 6 months when i started getting problems with the battery holding it's charge ( I needed to charge twice a day). I checked all the forums and tried all of the things that were advised to no avail, so I contacted Fitbit direct. They offered to replace the watch and I received a new one in a few days. I had the new one for a couple of weeks before the same issues arose, so again I contacted Fitbit who replaced it with a new one. Guess what - this one had the same issue so I contacted Fitbit and explained the issue - they could only replace it like for like again or give me 50% off any other product. I offered to down grade to a Versa 2, but they wouldn't have it. I have no other choice but to keep on getting replacements. I now have 4 Versa 3 watches ( hopefully one of them will work properly).
Fitbit obviously know there is an issue with these watches, but won't admit it. The Versa 3 is not fit for purpose. I wish I had gone with a Garmin.
Come on Fitbit, admit there is a problem and do something about it

I thought buying it directly from Fitbit, I’d avoid any issues.
Best AnswerEureka! Fingers crossed and knock wood….but I had turned my Versa 3 off overnight and then charged it up completely yesterday morning. I then did the only other thing I could think of…I reset to factory settings and began over again. Last night at bedtime I was at 71%. I’m currently (16 hours later) at 69%. So we’ll see…
Best AnswerI turned off the FITBIT AFib monitoring a few days ago and it seems battery charge life has improved a lot.
Best AnswerIt’s 24 hrs and I’m at 68%. It was 71% this time last night. I did a factory reset and started over yesterday morning.

Best AnswerAfter the factory reset, I charged my Versa 3 Sunday morning. Took most of the day off and on to get stuff back in place, and when I went to bed Sunday I had 71% battery. Here it is Tuesday afternoon and my battery is at 57%. Happy camper again.
Best AnswerOkay weekly report. Last Sunday, after turning my Versa 3 off overnight, I hit the factory reset button and charged it up. I spent time getting things reset to things I’d want/need, and crossed my fingers. When I went to bed on Sunday my Fitbit was at 71%. Last night (Friday) I finally got a notice to charge as it was down to 23%. Am I happy? You bet!!! Now if I can just do the same thing with my iPad! Thanks for all the suggestions, and letting me know I’m not the only one with this issue.
Best AnswerOkay, its been over a month since factory reset, and I’ve been getting 6 to 7 days on a full charge! So it did work. Was a pain to do, but worth it.
I turned everything off, re-booted, and lowered all my settings. The only thing that worked was re-setting to factory and starting over again. So far, so good.
