Hi @Tbirdbiker - this is not a good sign. First thing to try is a restart How do I restart my Fitbit device?
When charging check if it also gets hot, and stop immediately if it does.
If the high drain remains and if you aren't in an exercise using GPS it may indicate internal damage, such as water inside.
You can try removing some features but it might not make much difference - see How to resolve the Major issues causing short battery life.

I had a similar issue in that I was charging my Versa every day. I finally went into settings and started eliminating anything that I didn't need to see every day, such as Snore Report. I turned that one off, and now only charge about every three days. Hope that helps.

Hi there, @Tbirdbiker. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3.
I agree with @Guy_ and @wingman3, as the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. With that being said, I suggest making sure you've followed all tips and recommendations provided here.
However, I was wondering if by any chance you use Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?
Hope this helps.

My versa was working perfectly until I upgraded my phone to an iphone 14. Not sure if the two are related but in the last week my versa has gone from holding a charge for 5 - 7 days, to losing a charge within 12 hours. I've restarted it multiple times, had no water damage etc. It is also working very slowly and is no longer tracking certain functions. Very frustrating. I also don't have any extra apps or connections on it.

Hi @Longwalk12 - in your case it seems phone related.
What you can try is to turn off the phone Bluetooth and restart and charge the watch and then see if the battery lasts longer.
If so, then you have identified the sluggishness and high battery drain to a communication problem with the phone.

Below you'll find tips to extend your Versa 3's battery life:
Keep in mind that it can take up to 2 hours to charge your device to 100%.
Prevent the screen from turning on each time you turn your wrist.
Dim the screen or turn on auto brightness.
Turn off the always-on display setting.
Regards,
Will
