Versa 3 battery started draining after the update

Hi,  I usually charge my Fitbit Versa3 every 5 days or so.  I am active twice daily as a minimum so it is used an awful lot.  Since the update I am charging it daily as it will use 50% in a day.  Is this a known issue and one that will be resolved?  I bought this as it was that much better for battery life than competitor products.

Thanks

Chris

Hi there, @Chriss2000. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 3. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Please know that your Versa 3 battery should last up to 6 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or the Always-On display. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

I have made these checks.  I had not changed anything at all.  I use the fitbit 3 times a day typically a walk, gym and football.  The battery since the update has been an issue doing around 40% of the battery per day whereas it used to be 20%.
Is this something that will be rectified as it is a huge inconvenience now.

Ya mine is doing the same thing. I didn't make any changes to the versa3 I got the update and now it drains by 50%over night. Use to last 4 days at least. Only had the versa 3 for 2 months at most.  Why is the battery draining after the last update?
