The side button on my vera 3 has just stopped working since yesterday. Can it be reset or repaired? I use it a lot at night as a torch.

@ZRC - as mentioned in another post to @Yvette2 if there is nothing on the display it may not be a button problem.
If you put in on the charger and it doesn't start, or when you push the button, it is most likely flat and not charging.

@ZRC - there is a knack to the side button if you haven't used it much before.
You can't use a finger nail and it's not a clickable button.
It's a squeeze between the first finger and thumb.
If it is not operating as expected probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
Also reachable via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
The battery discharge rate is a different issue and it will discharge quickly if you are usual all the features all the time,

I agree with you! I fully charge mine yesterday and it was flat in the middle of the night
