I can connect my versa 3 controls in the phone, but when I try to pair it on my Fitbit, it doesn't work. It says unable to pair, try having your phone closer, but my phone is right next to my fitbit. Anything I can do? When I try to text someone back through voice on my Fitbit, it doesn't work. Is this because the it's not paired to versa controls?

I’m having the same problem. The controls will connect but then 30 seconds later it’s “not connected”. I’ve done everything I can think of to try and fix it. Even went back to factory settings and nothing. Same problem about 10 times now

Hi @KelliBern - If your watch is syncing [it uses Versa 3, not Versa 3 controls] then to use Voice Assistant it also needs to be connected.
Click profile photo, Versa 3 photo and the Voice Assistant tile and Connect. At this point it may be necessary to go to Bluetooth and configure Versa 3 controls to on [via gear icon or settings] in order for the Connect to work. see also next answer.
Hi @Bsgivens - Versa 3 Controls only connects when it is needed, it won't stay connected.

I do have my voice assistant set up. When I go to setting on my watch and click on "vibration and audio", then scroll down to "Music controls and in wrist calls", the "versa 3 contlrols" button is in the off position and says "allow for phone pairing". There are instructions below to finish pairing. That's where it says to go to my Bluetooth and click on versa controls and click the button on my watch to pair - but it doesn't. BUT, with your last reply, it sounds like it will turn on, on its own when it needs versa controls to connect??

@KelliBern - true, that watch settings is odd, it seems to work fine with it off and sometimes is difficult to get it on.
Irrespective of it's setting, the best way to test if "versa 3 controls" is working, is to play a song on the phone, then on the watch double press the button and music controls should be one of the 4 short cuts [if it's not you can configure it on the watch, shortcuts].
If you can control the music with your watch all would seem to be in order.
