I have my daily steps set to 10,000 and the total distance in KM automatically set to around 8km.  A couple of days ago I noticed that the distance icon was not fully filled despite me having walked over 8km.  On checking my dashboard (on PC) the setting has changed to 12.87 and no matter how many times I change it back to 8, it always goes back to 12.87. On pressing the icon on my phone the line is set at 8km on the distance page and distances over that are starred but on my watch it's still showing as 12.87

8 miles = 12.87 km

Fitbit confuses miles and km on daily distance goal.  That has been reported years ago.  Probably best not to hold your breath waiting for a fix.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thanks. I changed the distance manually to 5 which it’s obviously now reading as 5 miles instead of 5km but at least it’s now recognising a more accurate version of how much I walk.
