Today I noticed my Versa 3 required a firmware update. My fitbit was fully charged so I attempted to update it through blue tooth and wifi, several times, to no avail. I contacted support and was told I would receive an email with instructions, which I did not. I called support again and was told again I'd receive an email with instructions. But this time the support person said I'd be given options of what to do based upon my warranty. OK, this is a SCAM and totally inappropriate. Is my Fitbit no longer working because I attempted an update and now Fitbit wants to charge me something for their product failure? I intend to post this widely as this is just wrong. Period.

Hi @ebutton - it may not help if you have a problem currently but there are many other people posting similar issues with / after the firmware update.
So if your watch is working don't do the update. If it is stuck on the logo that's a problem.
It may not be charging at all so have a look here at the steps necessary. How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

It's stuck on the icon and won't charge now either. I'm done with Fitbit, $200 every 18 months is too much to spend.
