Versa 3 gets duplicate notifications from WeChat

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa 3 (paired with OnePlus 6 phone running Android 10) always shows duplicate notifications for WeChat. I searched the community. The duplicate notifications issue has been there for a few years without a solution.

Fitbit needs to look into this. At least, the easiest workaround Fitbit could do is to add one more if-statement in the code to check if a notification is a duplicate of the previous one.

In my case, I only have this issue with WeChat. Other apps seem OK.IMG_20210302_201009-.jpg

Hi there @deiG. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 3 as well for the image attached.

Is WeChat your default app for text messaging in the Fitbit app? If so, try switching to your phone's messages and see if now you only receive one message from WeChat every time you receive a notifications from that app.

Hope that helps.
