Versa 3 keeps losing steps twice in the last week. Last night went to bed had over 17000 steps. This morning less than 15000. Synched through out the day several times. On Sunday I had 28000 steps it dropped to 22000 steps again synched several times

Welcome back to the Fitbit Community, @Stewy01.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the steps lost when syncing your Versa 3 with your cellphone.
By any chance do you have MobileTrack in your phone? MobileTrack allows you to track some information using your phone when you're not wearing your Fitbit. If this is correct and there was a fan or something buzzing nearby, you might get extra steps as this function might think you're exercising, you can also get less steps with this function, which is reflected when syncing the Versa 3 with your phone.
I'd recommend removing this function from the Fitbit app, if you have it on, and monitoring your watch's behavior afterward. For instructions on how to remove a device, see this help article. You can also use the article to verify if it is on.

Welcome back, @Stewy01, and thank you for letting me know about this.
No worries, MobileTrack is not set up automatically, however, I recommend you to check if it's on and then test how the steps appear, just to make sure. You can check this help article for instructions on how to do so.
