I've had a Fitbit Blaze for 3 years which was perfect for me, but it finally died. Picked up a Garmin and hated the user interface. Finally settled on a Versa 3. I have figured out most of it except these two questions:
when I run or spin, the watch vibrates whenever I get into a new heartrate zone (cardio, fat burn, peak). Is there a way to shut this off so I don't keep checking to see if I got a text?
along the same lines, it seems like my notifications aren't really working during exercise, or if they are, they appear then disappear quickly. With the Blaze, they stayed on the screen until I acknowledged it.
Thanks in advance.

Hello @bakarnoma and welcome to the Community. These settings for the heart zone notifications are in each individual exercise shortcut. When you choose a shortcut, you will see a tiny "^" at the bottom of the screen. Swipe up to get to the settings for that exercise. Again, you must do this for every shortcut you use. There is also a Weekly Active Zone Minute Goal. To disable this: swipe left to the Settings app on your Versa 3 > Goal Reminders > Toggle it to off.
I never wore a Blaze, so I can't compare the disappearing time. But you can swipe down from the top of the screen to get back to these notifications. You can tap on the abbreviated text to see the full text.
I also want to point out that the Versa 3 (like all current Fitbits) give active zone minutes, not active minutes like your Blaze. It uses a different method for calculating heart rate zones that uses your resting heart rate as part of the equation. Active zone minutes are more consistent with current CDC and WHO recommendations for activity. Active minutes are out of date.
