Versa 3 reminders

I just got a versa 3. The salesperson said i could set reminders using google assist.  I can set the reminder on the versa but the reminders come through on the phone instead of popping up on tge versa. Texts and other notifications come through. Is this even something it can do?

Hi @Franklinpug  - normally if you long press the button on the watch to set an alarm or timer it will default to on the watch, otherwise try telling it on the watch.

So i did set the reminder on the watch but then the reminder buzzes on the phone not the watch. No notification is sent to the watch at all about the reminder. I will try the long press though
