Versa 3 screen and battery issues

Hi! My Versa 3 has seemingly crashed. The touchscreen flashes at me momentarily and then won't respond to being turned on. I've tried to factory reset and it won't. Or at least it isn't fixing the screen issues. Also, it won't hold a charge for more than 12 hours. Help??

Hi there, @AsheeRatzy. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

As for the battery drain, are you using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?

As you already know, that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. With that being said, I suggest making sure you've followed all tips and recommendations provided here

If none of the above seems to work, please follow @Guy_'s advice and chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

Hi @AsheeRatzy - there may be a watch fault - Probably best to chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support. They may be able to help you try a factory reset.

Though bear in mind a short battery life of that magnitude would indicate that moisture may have got in and has caused internal damage.

If you see a black or blank screen on your Fitbit, the first thing to try is a restart or a forced restart (also called a long restart.) Restarting your Fitbit forces it to reboot–and often fixes problems like a black, blank, or non-responsive device.
