put my watch on the charge and noticed the boot logo, after a day charging it is still on logo. Tried the reboot as shown on youtube videos but still just boots up to the logo. It was not connected to BT on phone and did not do a factory reset

Hi there, @TJ45. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

Please note this issue comes from performing a factory reset without first unpairing your Fitbit device from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings. With that being said, I suggest following the steps below in the order listed (or making sure you've done them as instructed):

  • Unpair your Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.

I'm currently experiencing the same issue. It happened on the same day that you reported this issue. Did the fix below resolve your situation? I'm not having any luck.

No, they are sending me another one.

similar experience starting on October 20; sometimes screen will come on- Fitbit logo is on screen stays visible; sometimes screen is black; live chat support (twice) has not fixed the issue; the button on the side will not vibrate either when charging or when pressed; so frustrated especially since this versa replaced the ionic which was recalled for actually burning people

Best Answer
Chat Support cannot fix the problem they are sending me a new watch.

Interesting! How old is your device? Mine is slightly over a year, but I've never had a Fitibit device not last at least two years I'm going to try to go through my credit card company's warranty guarantee if Fitbit will not help.
