Versa 3 stuck on Fitbit Logo

I got my Versa 3 almost a year ago through my insurance. It suddenly stopped charging. It stays on the logo. It seems like it charges, but you have to let it die or else the logo stays on 24/7.

I did not factory reset. However, it unpaired itself from my account and bluetooth just before it started displaying only the logo on charge. I had tried to re-pair it to follow the other troubleshooting methods, but my Versa 3 is completely undetectable. Trying to fix it through troubleshooting is how I discovered it had completely disappeared altogether.

I don't know what else to do with my watch to fix it if it is undetectable and isn't giving me any type of normal screen to work with.

Hi there, @megnificent7. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the following in the order listed (even if some of them you've tried already):

  • Unpair your Versa 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
