My Versa 3 is frozen. The screen has the Fitbit logo & it won't restart itself. Two days now. Anyone find a solution.

Ditto! I hope it wasn't an update that bricked us 😞

I tapped my Versa3 on a metal shelf while I was loading laundry this morning. All I get on my watch is the Fitbit logo. Pushing the button on the side doesn't seem to do anything. The watch won't sync.

Hi there, @KevinGM. Welcome on board. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3.

To solve this issue, please follow the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 3 from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 3 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 3.

If you can't get started with your Versa 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

FYI: This canned response (and script) to various forums is NOT helpful.

Looks like I am one of the unlucky ones with a bricked Fitbit... and to think I sold my Apple Watch for better sleep metrics. Doh!

By the way, this is my second Fitbit... I purchased the now defunct Ionic. That one I found out had a habit of bursting into flames after I bought by Apple Watch. So... Fitbit is now 0 for 2 in reliability with me. Not since the 1980's and owning domestic automobiles have I seen such terrible reliability in a product. Congrats.
