Versa 3 won’ switch back on

Hello, my Versa 3 vibrated for about a minute & the screen started flashing, it then switched itself off and I can’t switch it back on. 
I've tried charging, I’ve tried holding the ‘button’ for 10 secs or longer and nothing happens. I can’t do anything on my phone app because it says it can’t connect to the Versa. 
Any ideas how to fix the problem or has it gone to smartwatch heaven?
