I've had mine for 7 months - it stopped last night at 5pm - it went black - won't restart, won't charge.

Hi there, @Nas4967 @MN.Jake. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 3 devices. I understand where your concerns are coming from.

In addition to the steps you've done so far, I suggest trying the following:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your Versa 3 using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If you manage to bring your Versa 3 to life, but the battery keeps draining, may I know if you're using Snore Detection? If so, please note that the Snore Detection feature does impact your device’s battery, so we recommend charging your device to at least 40% before going to bed. For more information, see How can I use my Fitbit device to detect snoring and noise levels while I sleep?

However, I'd like to share with you that the battery life will depend on how frequent certain features are used in general. Because you're using an Always-On Display clock face, I'd recommend changing the clock face to another one made by Fitbit and monitor your it's behavior in the next day. Additionally, try turning off this setting by opening the Settings app on your watch > Display > Always-on display.

Hope this helps.

I have tried everything that you mentioned.it was kept on charge all night
but when I pressed the side button the display showed the battery as 0%,so
I'm assuming the charging cable is faulty or the actual watch.it was
purchased just a week ago and I started using it on Monday (5/9)and by
Friday it stopped working.

Mine died last night, I last charged it Friday and usually it holds a charge for 3-4 days. It died after 24 hours and I plugged it in and it was burning hot but won’t turn on

Same thing happened to mine after a year and a half. Black screen of death and won't charge on either one of my chargers.

Hi all, if your watch hasn't suffered water damage and you checked cleaning, often the charge cable is faulty, see How to check charge cable - Sense/Versa 3 won't charge, won't start or blank screen

Mine stopped working yesterday while it was on the charger.  When I got home I tried a different charger, and it's still not working.  No vibrations, no faint image, just a dead screen.

Update: I contacted Fitbit support (via chat) and Fredy took me through several steps and somehow it turned on and started working again.
