Versa 3 won't connect to my new phone

I’ve switched from a Samsung to a pixel 7 and my watch won’t connect to my new phone .

iv set watch back to factory settings , still won’t connect

Hi @Ann_368  - did you turn off the old phone?

In the new phone use the Fitbit App to setup the watch because if you factory reset it you are basically installing from scratch on your new phone.

Hi yes switched old phone off ..
Down loaded app to new phone, it finds the versa watch but can't connect
for some reason ..
Iv been told it's because my new phone isn't a Samsung?

@Ann_368 - it should work fine, unless the watch has a fault.

Try logout of the Fitbit and clear the storage cache and force stop it, and the restart the phone, also restart the watch again, and have another go at installing it.

The watch should appear in the Bluetooth entries unless there is a fault.
