Hi ... I am about to purchase the new Versa. My iPhone is too old, so I will be setting the Versa up on my iPad which is new. My question is, do the WEATHER and CALENDAR Apps require the device, such as an iPhone, to be close by to work? Or can I be out and about, without my iPad (or phone), and check the weather or my calendar on the Versa! Thanks.

When you are "out and about", you can check the weather and calendar but what will be shown is what updated there on the last sync with your ipad.
