Versa Battery Draining

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had my Fitbit versa for 11 months.  I wore it everyday and only had to charge every 3-5 days.  The past week to 10 days my battery needing charged daily and today it completely died after 6 hours (had been at 100%).  Ive searched these forums and tried all the tips to save battery life and have emailed Fitbit on tuesday but no reply as yet.

I’m having this exact same problem. A couple of days ago I noticed my battery was dead and thought that maybe I just didn’t pay attention to how much power it has left so I charged it back to 100% yesterday and not even 24 hours later it’s on 19%.

Hopefully someone will contact me soon with a solution.  I've deleted all my notifications from Fitbit and tried battery saving tips with no effect.  Really disappointed that I paid so much money for something that's not fit for purpose 11 months later.  I recommended it and 3 of my friends have bought the versa on my recommendation, I loved it up until now!

I am having the exact same problem. It started within the last week. Customer Service asked me to fully charge and then discharge to see how long it takes to die, but I had already done that and provided them with the information. I still don't have a resolution

I have the exact same problem. After 14 Months, battery lasts 5 hrs and heart rate function dead. I used all the conservative settings and only had to charge every 5 days. I just got done chatting with support and I'm irate. Chatted with them yesterday and did their battery test, emailed results same day, dead in 5 hours. They did not respond to my Email. I just did another live chat and they Will not replace it despite clearly having a defective battery. What really upsets me is how highly I've recommended the Versa and even gave three as Christmas gifts! Boy I feel like an idiot now. With the leather band I spent over $200 on a one year disposable watch. Their only support was 25% off a new one. I would understand if I abused it, but a dead battery (which cannot be replaced) is ridiculous. This is clearly a defect and they will not stand behind their product.

Somehow my battery started working normally again. I still contacted support before noticing this. Could have been a software update?

It's draining now after 4 or 5 hours use and still no contact from customer service
