So I got my FitBit Versa a week and a half ago and was so excited to have a FitBit again as I used to have an Alta HR before it went missing. I charged my Versa fully that night prior to messing with it. And I’ve noticed that my battery life is only getting me through a day and a half which is a drastic difference from the claimed 4 day span it’s supposed to have. I know that apps, features, and clock faces can alter the estimated battery life but I don’t have the auto wake feature on, I keep it on the lowest brightness setting, I don’t really use the apps on there and my clockface is the preselected factory one. The only things I really use are the HR feature and the notifications for text messages, and even then I keep my phone on do not disturb 85% of the day and don’t get many texts in the first place. I also do not have Bluetooth speakers or headphones hooked up to my Versa.
Is there a reason my Versa battery isn’t lasting as long as it should? Could it be faulty? Or does pretty much everyone have the same thing going on...
That definitely doesn't sound normal. I get roughly 4 days of battery life with notifications, all day sync, 24 hour HR, auto brightness and screen wake on. I also regularly track runs with little effect on the battery.
Best AnswerHi, since your Versa is almost brand new, i would strongly advice you to contact Customer Support and ask for a battery test. Maybe it's indeed faulty. Regards kuzibri
