Versa Completely Fell apart

I've had my Versa a little over a year now and for the most part I've been happy. I has had a few issues but I have usually been able to resolve them. Yesterday I decided to go for a swim. 1st time I've done this with my versa and it completely fell apart.  I am extremely disappointed.  I have had several fitbit's over the years and they usually just die on me but this is unbelievable. Customer service offered me a 25% discount as if I would foolishly purchase another one.
