Versa Cracked Screen

I just received my Versa and love it! But after wearing it less than 5 full days I see a crack in the left upper corner. I’ve contacted Fitbit and the reply was the screen isn’t covered under warranty. IT’S BRAND NEW! I did not do anything different with this then I’ve ever done with my Alta HR or Blaze...just normal wear. I’m so disappointed Fitbit isn’t standing by their product! I was going between this and the Apple Watch, but have loved my Fitbits. I’m so upset I’m thinking of jumping off the Fitbit ship.

I only used my versa as a Watch didn’t sleep with it and never knocked it
and didn’t drop it but it still cracked and I have read of other people
only taking it out of the box to find there is something wrong with the
screen I think there is a fault in it somewhere for so many people to have
the same problem

The difference is you can get an apple fixed

Actually @SunsetRunner no, Apple watches don’t get fixed if the screen breaks.  The watch must be replaced.  The form factor is too small.

thats fine if you wanted a multi purpose watch, the fitbit does work better
as a fitness watch for tracking than the apple does.
When i bought Fitbit it was to use as I am into fitness - running etc so I
expect that they make it durable, that they offer to buy or COME with
screen protector and bumper pads or atleast offer to purchase them - have
to purchase on amazon. THE really should have repair centre for the
screens? the watch is fine but screen is broken, why should we have to
purchase a whole new one?

Were you ever able to replace the screen. 

My new versa got knocked of the table has a nasty chip on side of screen and the whole screen cracked across underneath the perfectly undamaged screenprotecter.   Wondering if I will be able to replace the screen or just now learn to live with it

Gotta live with it if unless where you bought it from will replace it.

no repair option and they will not replace the watch - they have been
totally unhelpful and will only offer 30 percent off buying a new one it
sucks i know

I haven’t had the screen repaired and was told it wouldn’t be replaced
under warranty so I was lucky enough to be able to afford an Apple Watch I
couldn’t find any way to actually contact them so gave up I think there is
a fault with the screens

I had my Blaze for years and did all kinds of stuff with it and it was so durable. I got my Versa on Friday and by Monday I noticed a spider crack all the way across the screen and to my knowledge nothing has happened to it other than normal wear. I'm extremely disappointed in the quality and have purchased a screen protector to keep it from becoming worse. I can live with it but I like to take care of purchases like this and to see it already cracked just broke my heart. My sister has one and has never had this issue. I may have thought harder about buying it if I'd known this would occur.

I’ve only had my Fitbit versa for a few weeks! It was a Birthday present. I’m very careful with it! I just looked at it and the screen has a crack in lower right corner! I’m more than upset!!

My fit bit versa is also only a few weeks old and now has a crack in the right bottom corner! Did you get ahold of them directly?

I think you’re right! I know I didn’t hit anything and now that I’ve read so many comments about the screens cracking I’m sorry I bought it! It’s only been a few weeks

I am sure now that there is problem with the screens and I think that Fit
Bit makers should face up to the problem
I am will to keep going until they fix the problem and replace faulty
watches and do a recall. They're not cheap and should be able to stand
normal wear and tear.
