Versa Cracked Screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just received my Versa and love it! But after wearing it less than 5 full days I see a crack in the left upper corner. I’ve contacted Fitbit and the reply was the screen isn’t covered under warranty. IT’S BRAND NEW! I did not do anything different with this then I’ve ever done with my Alta HR or Blaze...just normal wear. I’m so disappointed Fitbit isn’t standing by their product! I was going between this and the Apple Watch, but have loved my Fitbits. I’m so upset I’m thinking of jumping off the Fitbit ship.

Hi, I received my fit bit verse from my kids for my birthday 2 months ago and wear it all the time. I am not hard on it and woke up yesterday morning and there is crack on the screen.  I contacted them and this doesn't fall under their warranty.  This is the third Fitbit I have had over the years and my kids went with this over the Apple watch because I have had good luck in the past with this brand.  This definitely will be my last Fitbit product if this is how they deal with loyal customers.

thats odd I had a small crack with a screen protector from amazon and they
said they would do nothing other than 25 percent off a new one.
These products to protect the device should be able to be purchased or come
with the product. NOT up to the consumer to look for or know about.
You can also purchase bumper pads. NOT everyone knows about these products.
they are not sold in regular stores or by fitbit.
It should not be up to the consumer to be aware of looking for such
products.
Fitbit should be held accountable for their poorly designed fitness watch
that is not durable for its purpose.
They have no repair options for their garbage screens. Apply watch and
apple care are the way to spend your money. FITBIT should learn from apple
customer service and offering repair options on all products before putting
them on the market and ripping people off IMO

Fitbit customer policy is,has and always will be  25% off of a new Fitbit if your screen cracks. It sucks! I agree that a the very least they should not put out a defective product which form the forum the versa glass definitely is without a fix.Perhaps now that Google owns them there customer service and retention will be better. One can only hope. They make a good product they just do NOT  do their best to support the customer is their is a problem.

Re cracked screen the only way I got to Fit Bit was to post on Facebook
global that I was dissatisfied with the response from Fit Bit, I think that
Google has bought out Fit Bit. Good luck and give it a go.

The best thing to do is to get a screen protector for your Apple Watch as
they can have the same problem as the Fit Bit. These types of sports
watches do not have a bezel also a screen protector keeps the screen from
getting marked

Exact same thing happened to me. After just a few days and for no reason.....cracked! Fitbit basically told me to stuff it.  They've lost a customer along with as many people as I can tell about it.

Post it on Facebook global, sorry it happened to you, I posted it and got a
new Fitbit. The one thing is I also bought a screen protector well worth
the few dollars, got them through Amazon.
