Versa Device - screen glitching

Hi,

 

I need some help regarding my Versa Device. Whenever the screen is on, it glitches: I think that the best way to describe is it's like I am touching the screen even though I'm not really doing anything. This causes to drain the battery since the device thinks that I am using it constantly. Whenever I receive notifications, I observe that the statistics in the Home page are changing since it thinks that I am touching it. I have tried to reset it by pressing the buttons but the issue still persists. I also tried resetting the device by going to the Settings>About.
