I’ve had my Versa a little over a month (previously had the Blaze). I like for the most part but it definitely has some glitches that I don’t like.
1). HR sensor sometimes shows a super high heart rate and takes 10 to 15 min to come back down even though I know my heart rate is back down long before that.
2). HR sensor got stuck at a high rate and wouldn’t come back down so I had to restart it to fix it.
3). My notifications quit working on a daily basis. I have to restart my phone to get the notifications to work every day. I think it may have something to do with the do not disturb on my phone while I’m sleeping.
4). It takes a long time to register my steps each hour.. Like it will show 150 steps left this hour, so I get up and walk for 5 min and it still show 150 steps. Finally after a few minutes it will show my updated steps.
5). I don’t like the new version of the app and I can’t revert it back!
so basically I have to pretty much restart my Versa and my phone everyday for it to function properly. I rarely had to restart my Blaze. Maybe three or four times in the almost 2 years I had it. Also, please bring back the old app! Or at least make it to where you can choose old or new.

Ugh... this smartwatch has been nothing but a headache for me. I made the mistake of buying a refurb for my wife, and of course the warranty is now expired. The thing worked fine for maybe 6 months, and then the text message alerts stopped working. Rebooting or factory resetting would fix it for a short period of time, but then it would stop working again. Then for about 6 months, nothing would get the text notifications to work.
This week I had to factory reset it three times, and now it will continuously count steps upward while sitting on the counter while showering. One day it added over 20000 steps. The heart rate monitor also stopped working this week, and the light/sensor on the back of the watch doesn't light up anymore. In addition, the sleep tracking no longer works. On the bright side, the text message notifications are now working.
Incidentally, my brother just bought his wife a brand new Versa and she's having the same problem with text notifications not working, and has to reset hers to get it to start working on occasion. I have to think this smartwatch is just fundamentally flawed.
After this experience, I'm really afraid to buy another Fitbit smartwatch. We loved the original and the Alta HR as they worked flawlessly, but we prefer the functionality of the smartwatch over just the standard tracker, so it may be time to move on to another brand. My brother did buy himself an Ionic at the same time he bought the Versa, and it has worked well up to this point though, so maybe there's hope. I don't know. It's just sad to drop almost $200 on something that doesn't work as intended without a fuss.
