After about a year with my Versa it stopped working properly while on holiday. The battery ran down from 100% to completely drained. After a long charge it was stuck in startup loop. I eventually got it started using the the 2 button method, but now its not counting steps or tracking HR. I have also unpaired the device and done a factory reset, but still nothing
The device also does a restart from time to time o its own, followed by an error o screen saying "Clock error".
Please advise how to fix this.

@ClintMo it's great to see you on our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped tracking your heart rate and steps. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
Please try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face. After this, check out if the display shows your steps and heart rate.
