Hello,

My Versa's heart rate sensor is not flashing or registering.  I have restarted it multiple times and it still is not working.

Have you tried a shutdown. Hold left and lower right buttons to turn on

Contact Fitbit

I assume the heart rate is on

Hello,

Thanks for the reply 🙂 I have done the shut down in the settings, reset it a dozen times, held the back sensor like the youtube videos and nothing. I have tried to reach customer service but with COVID it seems to be impossible.

I'm having the same issue. Don't know if it's because of the latest update, or because it got a little water in it when i was washing off the dirt from the band but its its beyond irritating. Tried rebooting several times and went through the hassle or a factory reset but neither solution worked.

Same thing is happening to me. It went glitchy about 2-3 weeks ago (after the last firmware update). Last week I finally uninstalled the app from my phone after I "forgot this Versa". Did the factory reset on my Versa. and then reinstalled everything. Took forever, but seemed to work - for about 4 days. Now I'm right back where I was - no heart rate tracking, no sleep insights, no active hours tracking, and my battery is draining like crazy! It HAS to be something with the firmware update - they need to put out a bug fix ASAP!

I'm having the same issue. Started a couple weeks ago, and nothing I've tried has worked.  It's extremely frustrating because I can't monitor my heart rate during runs, I rely on the heart rate feature very much. Getting in touch with support is impossible, via phone or chat. I'm do close to switching to another watch.

I was able to connect to Support via chat this afternoon, and only had to wait about 5 minutes. My watch is less than a year old, so still under warranty. But, it’s a replacement for my original Versa that died at less than a year old. They’re sending me a new replacement- so will be on my 3rd Versa in less than 3 years! I tried to explain that FitBit is losing $ and customers this way - just push out a firmware bug fix ASAP and they wouldn’t have to deal with replacements and losing customers! This isn’t cost effective or customer friendly. And, it’s adding unnecessary ewaste with all of the dead devices! I’m very frustrated that a company of their brand caliber is behaving this way!

Yep. Same here.  I have done all the “try this things” a million times and still nothing.  It all started with the last update.  It’s horrible! My husband never did the update and he is fine but I’m ready to throw my Fitbit in the garbage.

Having the same problem. The heart rate sensor just stopped working a couple days ago. I've tried every troubleshooting article, turning it on/off, soft reset, hard reset, and even factory reset.  After one restart I briefly got it working, but then it stopped after about 15-20 minutes, and it hasn't worked again since. Without the heart rate sensor it's useless for my sport training, and it's frustrating that their only response is to offer a 25% discount on a new watch. I'm unwilling to keep spending hundreds of dollars on a device that's going to fail in less than two years, with no option for repair.
