I have a question, has anyone whom have complaint to Fitbit regarding the Fitbit giving false heart-rate readings in 2018's issues been resolved?
I have the same issue, purchased the Versa Dec 2018 so just out of warranty but it's giving false readings, heart-rate 174 when one is sitting down is a problem.
I contacted Fitbit this morning, and was told they are aware of the problem and engineers are working on resolving it, new update should be available next week and if problem persist to call them again.
Then I found the thread where people have been complaining since April 2018 and they were told the same thing as I was this morning, needles to say, I was less calm, called back and was told the same again, said to this poor man but it's been since early 2018 it's still not resolved, yes he can't give a timeline, escalated to supervisor and this can only be done via mail.
So the question is, has anyone's heart-rate reading issue been resolved?
All these Versa's are being launched and the original is covered in defects that they seem to be unable to resolve.

Hello Belbrown - I'm having the same issues! I updated my phone App last night and since then, everything has been whompus backwards! I even recorded 18 minutes of activity WHILE SLEEPING last night! According to my Versa, I have not stopped being active since going for my run at 5:00 this morning. It's not even 11:00 a.m. and I've already met my burned calories goal by over 700 calories! The heart-rate is continually in the peak zone and restarting my tracker has done nothing. This is just making me anxious which doesn't help me get an accurate read on my heart-rate anyways.

Have you contacted Fitibit yet, they will give you the same rehearsed line but I'm hoping the more of us on their case the faster a solution will be brought forward.
