Versa II - Samsung Galaxy S10+ Connection Issues

Recently got a Versa II to team with my S10+.  Having major issues with running and walking.  Never have any issues syncing the app to the watch.  However, in order to get the watch to connect to the app for a run or walk, I have to sync the app while the watch is trying to connect for the run or walk.  For the first few weeks, it would maintain that connection for the duration of the run/walk.  Now, it charts the first half mile of the walk and then falls out.  It continues to take biometrics and estimate distance, but is no longer accurate or connected to the app.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the fitbit app but that didn't change anything.  Any help?  Thanks!

So got it to work this morning.  I had to remove the Versa II from the app and re-add and set it up over again.  Seems to be doing better now.  Got a run and walk in today and it connected for both and logged the entire workouts connected.  It did kick me out of a weight lifting session and I had to restart it, but I was just stretching so maybe it just never started correctly...

OK, this went south again.  Worked for a few weeks now not working again.  I hate to just remove it over and over again.  Is there a fix for this coming?  Should I be calling on the watch for warranty?  Thanks for any help!
