Versa Issues

My Versa is not staying charged and the screen on the device is black.  I have read all the help pages on the issues I am having but none seem to work.  I can charge the device but about 6 hrs later it needs to be charged again.  The screen is black, but it still tracks and syncs up to my iPhone.  I have tried pressing and holding the left button for 10+ seconds and the device will shutdown and then start back up with no changes.  I have tried holding the left and bottom right button down for 10+ seconds to reset the device and that doesn’t change anything.  I have tried changing the clock face and that didn’t work.  I have cleaned the charging contacts on the back of the device and no changes.  I have cleaned the charging probes on the charger and noticed that the second probe from the left appears to be loose in its slot (moves freely side to side but still springs back up when pushed down).  I am not sure if that is what is causing the problem with the device, but I have tried everything that I have read in the help files associated with the problems I am experiencing to no avail.  I need further assistance with the device.  It was a gift to me from my family a year or so ago and I use it every day.  These devices do not seem to last longer than a year to two without having some sort of problem (at least in my experience).  I have been through 2 Blazes and now a Versa.  Help needed.
