Well, my Versa Lite went black screen. I tried to reset and nothing. Now it’s unpaired with my app so I don’t know what it’s doing. Just last month or so it got stuck in the “update loop”. Now it’s a brick. Are Fitbits just not up to par anymore? I had the Surge until I lost it and got the Versa and it was great. Debating if I should purchase another or just get a different fitness tracker altogether.

Hi there @dstam728, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your issue with your Versa Lite's screen. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot it prior to posting here, I'll be glad to help you.
As per the description of your post it seems that the battery of your Fitbit may not be charging properly and therefore does not turn on. I recommend that you follow these steps (or please confirm that you've followed them as described below):
If the above steps don't work, at this point I recommend doing a factory reset (before doing so, make sure to remove your watch from your Fitbit account):
You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?
