Versa Lite charging conundrum

Can't seem to find this info definitively anywhere... Can I (and is it safe to) charge my Versa Lite in a USB port of a surge protector power strip instead of my PC?  Thank you!

The nearest to a definitive statement I have seen from Fitbit is:

"Plug the charging cable that came with your Fitbit device into a USB port on your computer, a UL-certified USB wall charger, or another low-energy device"

From: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1799/

My understanding is that any USB power source will be fine. I have used nothing but the wall charger for my phone for years without issue.

Thanks, Steve. My concern is mostly about the amps since the Fitbit text says to use a "low-energy device".  I have two power strips, each with 2 USB ports...one is 2.4 amps shared and the other is 3.4 amps shared.  I've seen some sources say it doesn't matter, but I'd obviously rather not take a chance on damaging my watch!  You'd think Fitbit would want to clarify something like this, no?
