Versa Lite display with red X

My Versa lite was working perfectly fine until one day I noticed that the time was way off. I did not cross a time zone or anything.  I tried to resync it and it would not connect to my phone.   I tried: powering off my watch, powering off my phone,  unpair and repair, uninstall the app and reinstall, even factory reset my versa lite.  Not one thing has worked.   I am able to repair my versa but as soon as I try to update it my versa, I get a big red "X".  That's as far as I can go.  My versa lite is only 6 months old.  I'd really appreciate if someone could help me.  I greatly miss my watch.

Hi @TiredMomm, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here.  Let me share with you that the red X your Versa Lite is showing is because the firmware version wasn't completely installed. That being said, I recommend you to learn more about how to update the firmware version of your Fitbit device with the information that's specified on this help article. Then, please move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Please keep me posted.

I was not able to finish the update. It stopped mid update and I was never
able to start it back up again. I have already been to the articles you
have suggested
