i cant start my exercise function. all seems to function properly until i get to the go button, then it doesn't start like it always has. this problem started intermittently but now happens always. my screen is fine as shown by the fact i can get to the go\pause screen. firmware is updated, factory reset does not resolve the problem. my active minutes are recorded, i just cant monitor my heart rate.

Hi @ldowney80, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.
Regarding the exercise function issue, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums. I'd like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved.
In order to avoid providing the same information, I would like to know how the factory reset was performed. In the meantime, try a regular restart as described in this article. After this, check out this help page, which explains how you can track your workouts or exercises.
Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

My fitness tracking has been hit or miss the last few weeks., i tried the two articles suggested. i did not do a factory reset previously it was just holding the button to restart. Now it will not start any activity to record heart rat and calculate calories. I am so frustrated
