Good morning. I decided to buy myself a Versa lite since I have been wanting one for the longest. Well I get home, get it all charged up and start the initial set up process. I followed all of the prompts, synced it with my phone, etc. After the download was finished, it went to the install process. It got about 1/3 of the way and froze. I let it be overnight to see if it would finish, but no. Here it is over 12 hours later and it is still froze. I have tried all of the troubleshooting tips, including removing the app and reinstalling on my phone. Well now, my phone can no longer locate the fitbit. I have even tried turning the watch off and back on, but it still loads 1/3 of the way and freezes. Is it defective? Should I take it back where I bought it and see if they’ll exchange it? HELP!

Since it is new, I would return it for exchange where you bought it. You shouldn't have to fix a new tracker.
