Versa Lite has condensation inside

My Versa Lite suddenly stopped working Sunday.  I had it on while sitting on the side of the pool, splashed with my kids a few times and swam after them a couple very short laps.  About 10 minutes later I realized the screen was blank and wouldn’t turn on.  I had charged it that morning, so it wasn’t a dead battery.  A while later I noticed condensation inside the sensors underneath.  I immediately took the band off and placed it a bowl of rice.  It has now been 3 days of rice, there is still some condensation inside and it still won’t turn on.
help! I’m lost without it.  I just bought it 6 months ago and don’t have to have to buy another one when it is supposed to be swim proof up to 50 meters.
