Versa Lite is not syncing properly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I know others have posted about this before, but I cannot work out how to reply to their posts, so I’m forced to post my own.

Up until a few days ago I was able to sync without an issue, but it suddenly stopped syncing. The single time I was able to sync I tried to do some of the hints mentioned here, like I tried to remove apps I don’t use. No help, because I have been unable to sync again ever since.
I lose minutes within an hour of syncing. I’ve only had the watch since May. It’s only been 7 months. It’s frustrating. I’m on a limited income. This was a treat to myself for my birthday. If I cannot fix it then it does me no good.
I discovered I may have had a tonic clonic seizure (which I thought were finished) one night only when my Fitbit recorded a single event of high O2 variation as I slept one night. My neurologist confirmed my VNS (an implant for epilepsy) had some serious activity that same time. I would love to keep my Fitbit working as I sleep. I never dreamed it may help me see if I may see seizures overnight.
Please help me. I’ve tried everything I’ve seen recommended to do to sync with my iPad. I’ve even switched from receiving the signal my high speed internet to receiving it from my phone. That, strangely, usually works. Now neither work.

Hi @BeyondHamilton, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I totally understand how you feel about the syncing issue that your Versa Lite has experienced since it has helped you with your condition, which I'm sorry to hear about. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, monitor your Versa Lite and see if it syncs properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Okay, I turned off my Fitbit, but I don’t want it connected with GPS so I
didn’t connect it with my phone. I followed the instructions I found there.
(My father had us involved with computers back since the 70s. Then I moved
to the Silicon Valley where I attended the high school where the guys who
invented Apple attended. I understand mostly how things work, even if not
everything.) It’s currently 10:10am EST but my Fitbit Versa Lite still
reads 8:59am. It’s getting very frustrating. Perhaps there is simply
something wrong with them. I’m reading this problem in far too many
products for this to be a simple syncing problem. If it cannot keep time it
is of no use.

It partially synched, because my steps and for a brief time my heart beat
was correct, but the time is wrong.

Please advise.

This is the 2nd time my Versa Lite quit syncing.

Does this happen every month? Please fix the problem.

Thank you

This has not happened often, yet now I haven’t been able to connect and sync all week. I’m here to get help before I go crazy. If it has a year warranty built into the purchase, I will reach the deadline in May.
