My Versa light is only 5 months old & is losing time overnight.
It will also not sync properly, I have followed all the suggestions & it only works if I forget this device & completely start again.
Surely this shouldn’t be happening?

Hello @AJ1969, welcome to the Community Forums.
First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Let me share with you that our Fitbit devices use your mobile device information to display the time with the syncing process, therefore, by simply syncing your Versa Lite it should display the time that’s configured on your phone. That said, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Let me know if further assistance is needed and if you have any additional questions.

Hiya, thank you for your swift reply however I have followed all the instructions & the only way I can get my watch to sync with my IPhone is to completely remove the device from & set it up again...I had to do it yesterday & again this morning...this means all my data is not being saved properly.
I appreciate you say that my watch sync's to the time on my phone however at it is only 5 months old anyway surely it shouldn't be losing time anyway?
I would say at the moment my Versa Lite is not fir for purpose 😞
