Versa Lite miles incorrect

My Versa Lite does not record the correct miles for the number of steps that I walk.

My stride is 24” and I am 5’3”.  I didn’t have a problem like this with previous Fitbits I have owned.

I do four 25 minute walks every morning.  Here are the stats for yesterday.  All of my days with the Versa Lite are similar to this.

Steps    Miles      

3244     1.92          

3291     2.32        

3285     2.56         

3251     2.50           

Miles should be around 1.23 to 1.25 for each walk with these number of steps.

At the end of the day yesterday I had a total of 17,088 steps and 10.14 miles.

That is well over the 6.47 miles I should have.

Are you using the connected GPS?

You say that your stride is 24", Jane toy set the stride in the Fitbit to 24"s

Thank you!  I didn't realize the GPS was on.  I turned it off last night and did a shutdown and restart. Today everything seems correct for my miles. 

I already had my stride as 24" in the app, but I didn't see the GPS setting there.  I did find it on my computer though.  Thanks again for your help.
