I just purchased a new Fitbit Versa Lite. I love it. It works well with syncing, notifications, etc.
Only. I try the music controls, and they pair with my Samsung Galaxy S9+ for roughly 30 seconds before disconnecting. I've read all sorts or forums, watched YouTube videos, and still they have trouble STAYING connected.
I've heard talks about the ellipse on the bottom of the music control screen, but I do not have that. Also, I've read that people can connect to their phone via the watch. How?
Please help. This issue is ridiculous.

Welcome to the Community Forums @MiocorvusOscen! I'm sorry for the late response. Thanks for troubleshooting your Versa Lite in order to fix the issue with music control.
The reason why music control isn't working is because you can't store playlists on Fitbit Versa Lite Edition. The feature is only available for Fitbit Ionic and Versa.
Let me know if you need further assistance, I'll be around.

That is not what she is saying. Versa lite does have Bluetooth control of music and podcast players etc. It is in the manual on page 44 and I am using it daily.
What she is saying is that she has problems staying connected to her phone, not that she can't play music.
Have you tried connecting to different phone to see if the issue consists? If it works on different phone then it's probably an issue of incompatibility between your devices. If the issue persists on a different phone there might be an issue with your watch.
This video explains the procedure of connecting to the phone:
