Versa Lite not receiving notifications

Can someone please help, my versa lite is a day old. Notifications have suddenly stopped working, ive tried all the steps that have been advised on the website and still nothing, it just keeps saying notifications arent working because my phone needs to reset, i have reset and turned it on and off many times and still no luck.... Any solutions would be greatly appreciated

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you currently using? Also, when was the first time you experienced this? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.

I have already tried some of the troubleshooting steps and they dont seem
to be working.. i can still receive calls but never any messages it still
says ‘ notification service not running, a phone restart is required to
re-enable notifications on your tracker’ i am using a huawei p20. When i
first set the watch up i was receiving messages but stopped the next day

Thanks for your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation with me, I understand how frustrating this situation can be for you. Since the troubleshooting steps from my previous post didn't work, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
