Versa Lite not tracking steps

my versa lite suddenly stopped counting steps this evening shortly. I have restarted it 3 times, and it counted about 50 steps when I actually walked about 3 miles. 

Help..... in middle if a walking challenge so rely on it to work

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? Is this occurring with steps only or with other stats as well? In the meantime I receive your answers, please change the clock face of your Versa Lite and let me know if the issue persists.
