Versa Lite notifications issue after sleep mode

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi. I have recently got the Versa lite and have been having issues with my notifications after sleeping. I originally set my scheduled sleep mode, and found that in the morning notifications would not turn on and come through to my Fitbit (after the scheduled wake up time). I have tried just using normal sleep mode instead of scheduled and they still don’t come through when I turn sleep mode off. I have also tried not turning sleep mode on at all but they still stop coming through the next day.

To get them to start coming through again I have to turn off all notifications in the app, restart my phone, turn notifications on again, and then sync my device. But it is annoying to have to do this every morning.

My Fitbit is set to all-day-sync, all notification settings are turned on (I have followed the advice in other posts).

Any advice would be appreciated please!

Thanks

@rbell26, I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I would like to follow up on the notifications issue that your Versa Lite is experiencing. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Finally, monitor your watch during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

 Good morning,

I, too, have been experiencing the same issues with notifications. Throughout the day, push notifications are sent to my Versa Lite as normal. I go to sleep and I do NOT activate any mode (e.g. sleep mode, Do Not Disturb, etc.). However, when I wake up the next day, notifications are not sent to my Versa Lite. The Versa Lite connects to the app fine; it will sync and show the right battery level, sleep number, steps, etc. from overnight but the push notifications just do not appear. When I swipe down from the top, it states that there's nothing to see here as in no notifications available. The only way to reset this is by rebooting my device (holding in the side button until the screen goes black and the Fitbit logo reappears shortly after).

I have looked at your help article but this is only steps for setting up notifications by making sure all devices/apps/firmware are up to date, sharing system info in Bluetooth settings, etc. Those are initial steps and I performed those during set up when I bought the device recently.

What we need is a solution for why the notifications are stopping overnight when the device has been left on normal mode (i.e. not on Sleep Mode or Do Not Disturb) and the device is configured to sync all day.

Please advise.
