Is the versa lite obsolete?

My tracker quit keeping time. I tried restarting, shutting down, even a factory reset. Nothing is working. I have only had it since October. I tried to contact Fitbit, but the chat won't connect. I would like to know what to do, it should still be under warranty, yes?

Also, when I did the factory reset, several times during the update, a red x would appear on my tracker screen, and the update kept restarting.

@Walie67   The Versa Lite is a discontinued model.  I’m not sure if it is considered “obsolete” or not.  Fitbit has a Legacy Device list of older models and it isn’t on that list.

It’s my understanding that Fitbit honors the warranty if it was bought from an Authorized Retailer.  There is a link to Retailers in your location at the bottom of every page.  I’m sorry you had trouble connecting with Chat.  But you must contact them for more help.

Thank you @AndreaFitbit , however I can not connect to the chat, it keeps coming up unknown error. My Versa Lite was purchased online, as it was the only way to replace my previous one that was a gift. That one stopped charging after 2yrs and I wanted the same one, and I have only had this one since October.. I feel I am out my money as there will be no warranty coverage, or assistance with a new product, which MUST be swim proof.

Thanks for getting back to us and for your feedback @Walie67

I understand how frustrating this could be and some countries don't have chat service all the time. I would recommend to keep trying.
