Just got my versa lite and it is recording steps when I scoot across the floor. How to fix this?

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa Lite since it recorded steps while you scoot the floor.

 

Please restart your Versa Lite as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page, which explains why your Fitbit device may count extra steps.

 

Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
