My vearsa lite screen has gone black- is there anything I can do? I placed it on charge (was working perfectly) when I went to use it - it was black - attempted restart but it wasn’t successful- what can I do?

Hi there, @Lisa_od82. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from.

As a first approach, I'd like you to please confirm that you restarted your Versa Lite as instructed here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work and you haven't felt a vibration on your watch during this process, I recommend trying the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

I am having the same issue. Went blank and nothing is happening with forced restart changing to different chargers. It had 60% battery and all of sudden went blank and not coming back.
